1. Create an attractive profile
uBitto doesn't assign learners to Tutors, but as a new Tutor, it is helpful to have a professional profile image and credible Introduction Video Thumbnail reflected on your listing!
2. Interacting with learners
Learners have the option to book as many lessons as they want with you. When a learner books a session with you, we will send a notification to your email address with learner's details, booked schedules and unique meeting link.
If you receive a booking from a learner, you may contact them to determine the student's level of proficiency and style of learning, as well as to help you prepare relevant materials for them. Make sure you reply to each learner!
3. Bookings and cancellations
uBitto has an automatic booking process, so learners can book any available hour in your schedule with a 48-hour notice. It is very important to keep your schedule up to date, so it shows only those hours that you can actually teach. You’re free to reschedule a lesson later, but we encourage you to have your schedule up to date to avoid any rescheduling issues. If you miss, cancel or unschedule too many lessons due to inconsistent or inaccurate schedule, you may not be able to teach on uBitto in the future.
4. uBitto commission and payments
uBitto applies a 20% commission on teacher rates. You can change your rates at any point.
Tutors will be paid out on a monthly basis, based on timeline of sales report and payment. Tutors can choose to be paid via Stripe (connected to your bank account) or direct bank transfer.
5. uBitto lessons and how to conduct them
Sessions are conducted physically or online via an agreed meeting software.
At the scheduled time, easily start your lesson with the click of a button on your Session Panel. Once your session is live, your learner will be able to join and your lesson can begin. You must begin and end your lesson on time for it to be registered.
All Sessions should be conducted via unique meeting link sent through uBitto; offering learners to Skype or conduct lessons out of the methods stipulated by uBitto is strictly AGAINST UBITTO POLICIES!
