There are always these unique naming of female archetypes mentioned in K-dramas and variety shows. Check out the 5 female archetypes below and hope you guys catch it the next time it's mentioned.

1. Bagel Girl 베이글녀

The bagel girl term is used for girls who have a baby (아기) face but body shape deemed as sexy by typical Korean beauty standards. These girls usually have big eyes which gives off the baby face feeling. The members of ex K-pop group Sistar (씨스타) is one of the best examples of this type of girls.

2. Sexy Icon 섹시아이콘

The sexy icon type of girl is just like how it sounds. A girl with a sexy body as well as has a sexy expression (표정). Celebrities who have been named a sexy icon include singer Hyuna (현아) and actress Clara (클라라).

3. Kkadonyeo 까도녀

뇌섹녀 (nwesaeknyeo) is the abbreviation for 뇌가 섹시한 여자 (nwega saeksihan yeoja) which means a girl who has a sexy brain. The meaning of sexy brain means an extremely smart (똑똑한) girl who is usually the one who has the highest grade in school. A good example of this girl is actress Yoon So Hee (윤소희) who graduated (졸업) from KAIST, one of Korea’s top universities.

4. Nwesaeknyeo 뇌섹녀

Nwesaeknyeo is the abbreviation for nwega saeksihan yeoja (뇌가 섹시한 여자) which means a girl who has a sexy brain. 5. Dolsingnyeo 돌싱녀

The term dolsingnyeo means 돌아운 싱글 여자 (dol-a-woon singeul yeoja). The exact translation is a single lady who has came back, referring to single lady who has been divorced (이혼). One of the Korean artists who suits this term is actress Chae Jung An (채정안).
