Do my students need a uBitto account?
Yes — each of your students gets a free student login (you provision them with one click). They use it to take vocabulary quizzes, record pronunciation voice notes, and view their own progress radar. You don't pay for student accounts — the price you pay is for your teacher seat. Up to your plan's student limit, all student access is included.
Can I use this and teach on italki/Preply?
Yes — many of our teachers do exactly this. They use the marketplaces for new student acquisition, then use Korean Teacher Pro to build the long-term relationship and progress evidence that makes students stay (and eventually move to direct payment). Marketplaces give you discovery; we give you retention.
Is this connected to uBitto's own school?
Same company, separate product. uBitto runs its own structured Korean paths in Malaysia/Singapore with our own Learning Partners — those tools are built into the path subscriptions. Korean Teacher Pro is the same toolkit packaged for independent teachers worldwide who don't work for uBitto. Your students are yours, not ours.
What happens if I cancel?
Cancel any time — no contracts, no cancellation fees. If you cancel, you can export all your student data, progress reports, and notes as PDF/CSV. Your students retain their final progress reports. We don't hold your data hostage.
Can I import students from my existing system?
Yes. Pro and School plans support CSV bulk import — name, email, current level, optional notes. For students you've been teaching for a while, you can also import past session notes and we'll seed their LEVSGRW radar with a calibrated baseline assessment.
What if I teach kids not adults?
Works for both, but the AI pronunciation scoring is more reliable for ages 12+. For younger learners (6-11), the system still works for vocabulary tracking and writing pre-review, but pronunciation scores tend to be less reliable due to vocal range. We're rolling out kid-tuned models in late 2026 — early access included on Pro+ plans.
Can I customize reports with my own branding?
Yes, on Pro Teacher and School Plan. Add your logo, your school's name, your bio, your color palette — every monthly report PDF goes out as your brand, not ours. Students see your name, not uBitto's. (Solo Teacher reports show "Powered by uBitto" in the footer.)
Is this available only in English?
The teacher dashboard is in English; the student-facing UI is available in English, Korean, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Japanese, and Spanish. We're adding Vietnamese and French in Q2 2026. Korean instructional content is delivered as Korean (the language you're teaching) regardless of UI language.
What about data privacy?
Your student data is yours. We don't sell, share, or train external models on it. Each student's data is visible only to that student and to you (their teacher). You can delete a student's data entirely at any time. We're GDPR-compliant for EU teachers and PDPA-compliant for SEA teachers. DPAs available on School Plan.
