Add a Connection #
Once you're a registered member of uBitto, you will be able to connect or follow another member.
- To add a connection, click on the Search at the top right of the page.
- Enter the name of the member and choose from the results.
- On the person's profile page, click Connect.
Connect – Sends a request to the person you wish to connect with. Once the request is accepted, you will both be able to see each other's shares and updates on Timeline at your profile page.
Follow – Following someone on uBitto allows you to see and interact with another person's posts and activities on your Timeline without being connected to them. However, the person you’re following won't see your posts. This feature is useful when you need to reach a large audience without being bombarded by connection requests from every individual user who’s interested in your content.
Message – uBitto Messaging allows you to communicate with other uBitto members.
Accepting or Ignoring an Invitation to Connect #
You will be notified when a someone sends you an invitation to connect.
- To view the invitation, click on the Bell (notification) at the top right of the page. This will take you to your connection Requests at your profile page.
- You can also get to that page by clicking on your profile > Connections > Requests.
- Click Accept to add the person as one your connections.
- Click Ignore to remove the invitation. The sender won't be notified that you've ignored their invitation, so they may try to connect with you again.

Accepting or Ignoring an Invitation #
To view the invitation, click on the notification icon in the top of any page on uBitto. This will take you to your connection Requests at your profile page.
You can also get to that page by clicking on the Menu at the top left of the page, and click on your profile picture or name. Select Connections (shown on step 2 in the image below).
- Click Accept to add the person as one your connections.
- Click Ignore to remove the invitation. The sender won't be notified that you've ignored their invitation, so they may try to connect with you again.
