Skill Radar Chart

The radar chart gives you a visual snapshot of your progress across all 7 language skills (LEVS GRW). Each axis represents a skill — the further out the line extends, the stronger that skill is.

  • Identify which skills are strong and which need work
  • Watch the chart grow as you take more quizzes and earn points
  • Aim for a balanced, round shape — that means well-rounded language ability

Study Streak

Keep your learning streak alive by practicing every day. The streak counter shows how many consecutive days you've been active on uBitto.

  • Take a quiz, post in a forum, or complete a lesson to maintain your streak
  • Longer streaks earn you bonus rewards

Learning Report

Access your detailed learning report to see a comprehensive breakdown of your progress over time — quiz scores, skill growth, and activity history.

My Learning Corrections

Every mistake you make in quizzes and AI Writing Reviews is collected and analyzed in one place. The Learning Corrections section on your dashboard helps you understand your weak spots.

  • See all your past mistakes organized by type (grammar, spelling, vocabulary, particles)
  • Identify patterns — which kinds of errors you make most often
  • Track improvement over time as the same mistakes stop repeating
  • Use this as a personal study guide — focus your practice on your weakest areas
Desktop[Screenshot L-6: My Learning Corrections page showing collected mistakes organized by type]
Mobile[Screenshot L-6: Learning Corrections on mobile]
Tip: Review your corrections weekly. The mistakes you see most often are the ones to practice. Once you stop seeing the same error, you know you've mastered it!

Leaderboard

See how you rank among fellow learners! The leaderboard shows top performers based on points earned, quizzes completed, and learning streaks.

  • Compare your progress with other learners in your community
  • Separate leaderboards for different skills and time periods
  • Climb the ranks by staying consistent and earning more points

LEVS GRW Adventure

The LEVS GRW Adventure is an interactive game-map style learning journey that makes skill development fun and visual.

How It Works

  • Each of the 7 language skills (Listening, Expression, Vocabulary, Speaking, Grammar, Reading, Writing) has its own adventure path
  • Complete quizzes and activities to progress along the map
  • Unlock new stages as you earn more points in each skill
  • Visual progress — see your character move forward on the map as you learn
  • Earn bonus cookies and badges for completing adventure milestones
Desktop[Screenshot L-9: LEVS GRW Adventure game map showing skill paths with progress markers]
Mobile[Screenshot L-9: Adventure map on mobile]
Tip: The Adventure is designed to keep learning balanced. If one skill path is far ahead of others, try focusing on the lagging skills — a balanced learner progresses faster overall!

3. Points & Levels

Every time you take a quiz or get a writing review, you earn skill points. These points track your progress across 7 language skills.

The 7 Skills (LEVS GRW)

  • Listening — From dictation and dialogue quizzes
  • Expression — From story cube and speaking quizzes
  • Vocabulary — From multiple choice and image word quizzes
  • Speaking — From speaking script and scene dubbing quizzes
  • Grammar — From grammar context and build sentence quizzes
  • Reading — From comprehension-based quizzes
  • Writing — From AI writing reviews
Desktop[Screenshot L-10: Learner dashboard showing radar chart of 7 skills with points breakdown]
Mobile[Screenshot L-10: Learner dashboard showing radar chart of 7 skills with points breakdown]

How Points Work

  • Higher quiz scores = more points earned
  • Beating your previous best score earns bonus points
  • Your educator can also manually award points for participation
  • Points contribute to your overall level

Proficiency Levels (5S)

As you accumulate points, you progress through 5 proficiency levels:

  • 🌱 Seed — Starting your journey
  • 🌿 Sprout — Building foundations
  • 💪 Survival — Handling real situations
  • 🎯 Solid — Confident and capable
  • Significant — Near-native fluency

  3. Click the Book Now button.
  4. Select a service (session type and duration).

Using Package Discounts

Some educators offer package deals for multiple sessions. When a package is available, you'll see a discount banner at the top of the booking widget:

  • Starter — 4+ sessions, 4% off
  • Boost — 8+ sessions, 9% off
  • Pro — 12+ sessions, 14% off

Mobile[Screenshot L-15: Package discount banner on mobile]

Trial Lessons

Many educators offer trial lessons at a reduced price so you can try before committing. Look for a "Trial Lesson" or "Book Trial" option on the program page.

Tip: Trial lessons are a great way to find the right educator for you. Try a few different educators before committing to a package.

Managing Your Bookings

After booking, you can:

  • View upcoming sessions from your Learner Dashboard
  • Receive email reminders before your session
  • Contact your educator through the community group if you need to reschedule

Time Zones

The availability heatmap and booking widget automatically convert times to your local time zone. The educator's time zone is shown as a note below the heatmap, but all times you see are in your own time zone.

Important: Make sure your device's time zone is set correctly. The booking system uses your browser's time zone to display available slots.

6. Joining Community Groups

When you enroll in a program, you're automatically added to that program's community group. This is your dedicated space for learning with your educator and classmates.

How to Access Your Groups

  1. Tap Community in the bottom navigation bar.
  2. You'll see all groups you've joined.
  3. Tap on a group to enter and start participating.
Desktop[Screenshot L-16: Community page showing learner's groups with program community highlighted]

  • Members — See who else is in your class
Desktop[Screenshot L-17: Inside a community group showing forum tab with lesson topics]

7. Participating in Forums

Forums are where the real learning happens. Your educator posts lessons, vocabulary, and quizzes. You can reply, ask questions, and practice your Korean.

Good to know: Inside a community group, forums appear under the "Discussions" tab — but the underlying feature is a forum. You may see "forum" in the URL and "Discussions" in the menu. They're the same thing!

Reading Lesson Posts

Your educator will create topics for each lesson. These typically include:

  • New vocabulary and grammar explanations
  • Practice sentences and examples
  • Embedded quizzes for you to try
  • Discussion prompts or homework
Desktop[Screenshot L-18: A forum topic showing a lesson post with vocabulary and an embedded quiz]

Replying to Topics

  1. Scroll to the bottom of a topic.

Desktop[Screenshot L-19: Reply box at the bottom of a forum topic]
Mobile[Screenshot L-19: Reply box at the bottom of a forum topic]
Tip: Write your homework answers, practice sentences, or questions directly in forum replies. Your educator can see and respond to them.

8. Taking Quizzes

Quizzes are embedded directly in forum posts. You can take them without leaving the discussion — and your results are posted automatically for your educator to see.

How to Take a Quiz

  1. Look for the quiz viewer embedded in a forum reply.
  2. Click Start to begin the quiz.
  3. Complete all questions.
  4. Your score and earned points are shown at the end.

12. Tips for Success

Practice Every Day

Even 10 minutes a day makes a huge difference. Take one quiz, write one sentence, or read one lesson post. Consistency beats intensity.

Write in Korean

Use forum replies to practice writing in Korean. Don't be afraid of mistakes — the AI Writing Review will help you improve. Every correction is a lesson learned.

Take Quizzes Multiple Times

Retaking quizzes helps reinforce what you've learned. You earn bonus points for improving your score, so there's no downside to trying again.

Engage with Your Community

Reply to other learners, answer questions when you can, and celebrate each other's progress. Learning is more fun — and more effective — when you do it together.

Ask Questions

If something doesn't make sense, ask! Post a question in the forum and your educator or fellow learners will help. There's no such thing as a silly question.

Track Your Progress

Check your dashboard regularly. Watching your skill radar chart grow is incredibly motivating. Celebrate your milestones!

Remember: Language learning is a marathon, not a sprint. Be patient with yourself, stay consistent, and enjoy the journey. You've got this! 🎉
